Meet our founder

My deep curiosity about the world began as a child living in rural West Tennessee and expanded once I attended college and discovered a passion for foreign languages, education, and international relations. My curiosity and passions took me to Spain after graduation, where I spent 17 transformative years living in Europe. 

While living as an expat, I taught across the entire spectrum of education – from preschool to university – in 3 different countries. I also held leadership positions that gave me significant experience in organizational change across multiple cultural contexts. 

My experiences, while varied and diverse, all taught me invaluable lessons about human connection, cultural nuances, and the art and science of effective communication. The complexities of culture became deeply personal once I committed to an intercultural marriage and began raising bilingual children. 

I’ve lived the paradox of culture – simultaneously abstract and concrete, elusive yet tangible. And I deeply understand the profound journey of discovering your own cultural identity and taking the challenging, but necessary, steps required to make dynamic changes.

Today, these experiences translate seamlessly into my role as a Culture Strategist.
